This policy explains what Nova Springs Digital collects, why, how long we keep it, and what you can ask us to do with it. It is written to be read rather than to protect us, so if anything here is unclear please ask.
Who we are
Nova Springs Digital is a sole trader business based in Manchester, United Kingdom, operated by Gloria Ayoade. We are the data controller for the information described in this policy.

What we collect
The free diagnostic
When you complete the diagnostic questionnaire we collect the answers you give. These are questions about how your business operates: how enquiries reach you, roughly how many you get, what an average job or treatment is worth, how your diary and admin work, and which systems you use. We also collect your name, business name, email address and, if you provide it, your telephone number.
We do not ask for, and do not want, sensitive personal information. Nothing in the questionnaire asks about health, and no information about your customers, patients, tenants or staff as individuals is collected at any point. The figures you give are business figures, not personal records.
If you buy a report or a call
Payments are handled entirely by Stripe. We never see or store your card details. Stripe tells us that a payment succeeded, along with the name and email you used, so that we can release your report.
When you email or call us
We keep correspondence so we can pick up where we left off. Nothing more.
Your browser
The diagnostic stores your answers in your own browser, so that your report can be rebuilt after payment without you filling anything in twice. That storage sits on your device and we cannot read it. Clearing your browser data removes it.
We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. Our pages load typefaces from Google Fonts, which means Google receives your IP address as part of serving those files.
Why we use it, and our lawful basis
| What for | Lawful basis |
|---|---|
| Producing and sending the diagnostic result you asked for | Legitimate interests: you asked us for it, and we cannot provide it without your answers |
| Producing a paid report or delivering a walkthrough call | Performance of a contract |
| Taking payment and keeping financial records | Legal obligation, and performance of a contract |
| Replying to your enquiry | Legitimate interests |
| Improving the diagnostic itself, using aggregated and anonymised answers | Legitimate interests |
| Sending you marketing emails | Consent, given separately, and withdrawable at any time |
Completing the diagnostic does not sign you up to anything. We will send you your result and any report you have bought. We will not add you to a marketing list unless you have separately told us you want that, and every marketing email carries an unsubscribe link.
Who we share it with
We are a one-person business and we do not sell data. We use a small number of service providers who process information on our behalf:
- Netlify, who host the website and receive questionnaire submissions
- Stripe, who process payments
- Google, for our business email and calendar, and for serving typefaces
We may also share information where the law requires it. Nothing else, and nobody else.
Using AI tools
We use AI tools as part of preparing reports. Where we do, we use business accounts configured so that your information is not used to train anyone's models. Your answers are not fed into public chatbots, and they are never used as training data.
How long we keep it
- Diagnostic answers and reports: twelve months, then deleted, unless you are an ongoing client or you ask us to remove them sooner
- Correspondence: twelve months from our last exchange
- Financial records: six years, because HMRC requires it
Where your report lives
Your report sits on a private web address containing a long random code, and search engines are instructed not to index it. It is not listed anywhere and cannot be found by searching. Anyone you forward that link to will be able to see it, so treat it as you would any document containing your business figures. Ask us and we will remove it.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask us to:
- Give you a copy of what we hold about you
- Correct anything that is wrong
- Delete it
- Restrict or object to how we use it
- Transfer it to someone else
- Stop sending you marketing, at any time
Email hello@novaspringsdigital.com and we will respond within one month, usually much sooner. There is no charge.
Complaints
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, please tell us first so we can put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk, by post, or on 0303 123 1113.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle information we will update this page and change the date at the top. Where a change is significant and affects people whose data we already hold, we will email them.
